great access to parks and attractions for weekend strolls
The friendly staff, and the cozy atmosphere of the pub downstairs was perfect, just under 5 km away, and Saint Mary's Church, a short walk of about 6.5 km from my room. While the experience was good overall, noise from outdoor tables could be distracting at times.

Spacious family room offers plenty of room to move around, a nice touch for families. Good proximity to local attractions means it's easy to explore the surroundings without too much hassle.
Furniture in the family room feels mismatched and outdated, with tiny TVs that don't quite fit the upscale feel they're aiming for. The shower cubicle has persistent limescale and grime that makes for a less than inviting experience. Noise from the downstairs pub can make it hard to get a good night's sleep, especially with kids trying to rest. A fresh coat of paint and some deep cleaning would make a significant difference in the overall ambiance.

I loved the medieval vibe of the room, with its beautiful wooden beams that added character. The staff were cute. Dining at the pub was a treat with delicious food that stood out. An area for improvement would be the limited parking available on-site.

Had a super delicious cooked breakfast every morning, and the staff was super friendly and always remembered where we had been the day before. The rooms were comfy and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was really good for walking and nearby attractions. The meals at the pub in the evening were yum, especially the sunday roast!
only thing is that the pillows were a bit hard for me, and it's best to have a car since public transport is rare.

The staff were amazing, always ready to help and super friendly. Had a delicious and plentiful breakfast every morning which set me up for the day. My room, the Beautiful Double Room, was spacious and featured great amenities like a tv and tea-making facilities. Really appreciated the beautiful village surroundings and the interesting local buildings. The noisy fan from the nearby ladies' loos was a bit bothersome at times, but it wasn't too disruptive after I got it switched off. The overall experience left me feeling relaxed.

Couples looking for a cozy stay
The staff are like family, always going the extra mile. I had breakfast there once, and the manager personally made me eggs that were out of this world.
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for the experience, worth every penny!
